LIGO's Third Observing Run Resumes

On November 1st at 15:00 UTC the LIGO and Virgo gravitational wave detectors resumed their operations. All three sites were in a planned commissioning break since October 1st for scheduled maintenance and upgrades. The 3rd observing run started on April 1st, 2019 and will continue until April 30, 2020.
