Public events canceled at LIGO observatories

We are sorry to say that due to the COVID-19 threat, all public events at the LIGO Hanford and LIGO Livingston observatories have been canceled. This includes tours, field trips, outreach and education events, drop-in visits, and other public events. The observatories continue to operate, but are closed to the public at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to resume our public outreach activities at a later time.
