LIGO Laboratory Executive Director Elected 2015 OSA Fellow

The Optical Society (OSA) Board of Directors announced its newest roster of OSA Fellow Members. LIGO Laboratory Executive Director David H. Reitze has been elected as one of 76 OSA Fellows.
From the OSA website:

"OSA Members were elected for their significant contributions to the advancement of optics and photonics, many of whom will be honored at OSA conferences throughout 2015. The society appreciates the efforts of the nominators and of the members of the Fellow Members Committee, who reviewed all of the submissions."
The Optical Society was founded in 1916. It is the leading professional society for scientists, engineers, students and business leaders working in disciplines related to the science of light.
